Building our house was a daunting prospect when we set out on the journey. However without a doubt Cooldine Construction took a considerable amount of pressure and stress away from us. Prior to starting our house we spoke to numerous previous clients of Cooldine Construction and every single person had the highest of praise for Cooldine Construction, their staff, the quality of their work, David’s attention to detail, and above all their reputation.

From the initial consultation with Benny and David, various site meetings and the final handover, we were always impressed by how extremely professional, efficient, helpful and friendly everybody that was involved in the build was. The building process was very well managed and there was never any delay involved. Everything ran seamlessly and proved the excellent management process that is in place. We were kept up to date with the build progress at all times and we were always given sufficient notice for when we needed to have key decisions made. From a pricing point of view, the final price was entirely in keeping with the quotation received and any extras that we looked for in our new house were always agreed upon with us before any work commenced, allowing us to keep our budget under control.

The standard of work was always to the highest level and nothing was out of place. As the build progressed we were always guided by David and his brilliant advice. On more than one occasion we had an idea of what we thought we wanted but David’s experience and advice made us quickly realise that perhaps there was an alternative and better option available. Without a doubt if we were back at the beginning of our house building journey Cooldine Construction would be our first choice of builder and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody starting out.

John and I had a great experience with Cooldine when they were building our forever home in 2019. There was always excellent communication and David was always available to help answer any questions we had. Cooldine construction did a part demolition and extension on our house which is right beside my farm and workshop. I have to say we all got on great together from day one. They worked away on the site and kept me up to speed on what was going on. When they needed decisions made they gave us plenty of notice. They are all grand fellas. The work is top class and we would have no problem recommending them in the future.

We chose Cooldine Construction as the main contractor for a challenging private house build in Thurles. The site was constrained on all sides by neighbouring properties, was also a fairly restricted site in relation to the size of the build and the retention of a large number of existing mature trees which were in places only inches from the build required meticulous planning and organisation from the contractor. The design of the house over 4 levels, part submerged, part elevated added further to the complexity. The house was completed to a very high standard on time and on budget. The staff on site and in their offices were always extremely professional, pro active and a pleasure to deal with. Cooldine Constructions attention to detail, efficiency and quality of workmanship is testament to their professional approach to their work.

It was such an honour & a privilege to have Cooldine build our fabulous New Home. Built at a time (2019-2020) when external factors were immense, but we never experienced any concerns or issues at any stage. We can honestly say that we enjoyed every stage of construction with the Cooldine Team.

From our very first meeting, my husband and I knew that David and the team at Cooldine were the contractors for us. They immediately put us at ease with their professionalism, attention to detail, vast knowledge and impressive list of contacts and colleagues – all of whom made our experience of building a new house (during the pandemic, no less) such an enjoyable experience.
